the lack of a PA system at GGF is difficult. you cant call for workers,
close the course, call for red flags, etc.
when we first started at GGF, pretty much everyone make allowances for the
lack of PA. now that it is our regular venue, there is either a more lax
attitude or more people that dont know what its like at an event WITH a PA.
its a bit amazing we do as well as we do, but it requires the event chairs
to do alot more yelling and running around and teching 20 cars in 10
minutes. if vic is around, he's helpful in having some big lungs- acting as
a human PA system.
