Actually, what I think would really speed up tech is if the drivers would
STAY WITH THEIR CARS. Then, they can scrabble around inside their own
helmets to show me the sticker. They can also open the hood and trunk, so
I don't have to, and open the door to give me the card, pull a lug nut if
we ask, etc. Then, I wouldn't have to take off my grungy gloves at all.
Also, if something looks iffy, or their card isn't filled out, I can
discuss it with them right there, instead of having to search for the
driver. The other advantage of this is that each driver will be able to
see what is checked, and how, so they know what to watch out for before
they come to an event.
