On behalf of my co-chair, Sean O'Boyle, I'd like to thank everyone who
helped out at Round 15 yesterday and made the event a success: plenty of
time for fun runs (a full hour!!) at the end of the day and the motorhome
was packed up and on the road by 5:15.
Special thanks go out to the morning setup workers (Don Ebaugh, Tom Grote,
Bryan Heitkotter, Gordon Yagisawa, Seth Emerson, Durk Edwards, Kevin
Hubert, Conway Chang, Ramin Beizaie, Randy Noll, James Hodges, Navid
Kahangi, Peter Thana and probably a few others I might have forgotten).
Thanks to the cleanup crew that stuck around at the end: too many to list,
but your help was greatly appreciated!
We'd also like to thank the handful of people who graciously offered to
work extra work assignments, especially during the smaller afternoon run
groups.
Extra special thanks to Sherry Grantz for driving the motorhome and helping
out with other event-chair duties. Also, thanks to Charlie Davis for course
setup/design advice.
My apologies for a rather short course. It seem a tad longer when we walked
it, but once you drove it, it seemed like you could take the whole thing
almost flat-out! The course was based on this year's San Diego National
Tour course (designed by George Doganis) with a few changes by myself and
Sean. Some last-minute improvising by Charlie and Durk made the course a
lot safer and enjoyable.
