wind down at Marina and get the food guy back, life
would be perfect.

Well, the cold is a summer thing at Marina. When
Sacramento heats up and starts sucking, the fog comes
in. Happens every year when the legislature convenes
and ends in the fall when they go off to get
reelected. Or so it seems.
The wind is there, always was, that's why they built
an airport there. Airplanes really like wind.
Politicians like to make their own.
As for Ron the food guy, he had a heart attack last
fall and is on the mend. He has had three hospital
visits since then. He calls every month with a report
that he hopes to be back at the next event, just
doctor willing is holding him back. I recall The Club
making similar allowances for another fellow not too
long ago, and I think it is the right thing.
At this event we tried a Subway sandwich run like we
do at the school and it seemed to work for those who
wanted it, maybe we could expand on that next time.

Spam time, Charlie delete now.

The next event is our day/night event July 21. The
night event has the flashlights-in-the-cones making
them like jack-o-lanterns thing and runs until
midnight [if we can get that OK again, we may be
limited to 10PM]. We have had Ron bring out the big
BBQ the last three years and I hope we can repeat
that.
We have added Sunday to the schedule this year for a
couple of reasons.
1, a triple header is different and exciting to the
REALLY serious autocrossers out there, [the kind that
actually prepare their cars to the book rather than
rewrite the book to their cars 8-)].
2, I don't want to pick up cones at 2 AM after
starting at 6AM just so some other group can come in
and do a grandstand stunt.....
That's two over the bow Charlie, but the full moon is
past so you can let them be....or not....
