Peter, There is a lot of the high cost things you can do yourself to make a
complete paint job less expensive. Don't automatically assume they are
beyond average skills. The high cost prep stuff is the removal of
attachments, stripping and feathering, and masking There is an old paperback
publication called Minor Autobody repair that covers all the cost saving
prep stuff. I think it is an old Peterson Publishing title. I may still have
my old copy in dead storage if you can't locate it.
I fully support your efforts to remove teal objects from the universe.
