actually, i think it reflects badly on me as an event chair that there were
any errors in scoring. another person told me their only good run had a
cone, but that cone did not appear in the results.
i was hesitant to spent too much time in the motorhome because it is rather
hectic and thought i would be in the way, but the next event i chair i will
try to oversee the timing and scoring more closely to make sure there are
not mistakes.
the motorhome crew shouldnt hesistate to Hold The Start if there is a card
missing, etc. this is one area that not having a PA makes things difficult.
better to hold the start for a minute or two than make mistakes on people's
cards.
even it is cones in a parking lot, i dont accept mistakes on my shift.
