there are certainly lots of good reasons to tow, but if i go through all
that trouble, why not tow a real race car, not an ultra heavy semi-modified
street car with all the wrong engineering for racing. just my thinking, of
course, based on my experiences with my rx7. driving it on the street was
awful after i modded it, and it was still 10K from being competitive.
so i race a street car. it can be used for autox and then commute in style
to the opera, then drive to LA without a second thought, or go grocery
shopping (done all of those :)). no changing tires each event. thats a car
to me. but its also a really fun toy that i can modify cheaply.
also, i have no use for a truck or trailer except to tow a vehicle, and
buying and maintaining another vehicle i will use 14 days a year sounds
awful. then i have to load the car on each time... blaa. what do you guys
do with your trucks when you are not towing??? where do you park your
trailers?
cheers!
