I'm changing the subject slightly, but I am openly inviting Navid, and Kit,
too, to please, please STAY in ESP. Forget the super charger. I have been
accused of being kind of obnoxious in this game of autocross, especially
since I've entered, thanks to Jim, the wonderful world of BMW ESP. Well, ESP
is the first class I've run in where such an attitude is actually embraced.
I especially like running with talkers like Navid who openly admits that he
WOULD probably beat us by maybe three seconds, if he hadn't been on corded
tires. It makes beating him so much more fun. And come to think of it,
losing is a lot more fun, too, because coming up with a creative excuse is
so strongly encouraged. In ESP creative excuse making is on the same level
of importance as the driving itself. I love ESP!
