Milligan has the lead, yes, but only .8 behind (.8 is nothing when comparing
times to the Phantom) is John Engstrom from Illinois in his Correlian Pod
Racer. Joe Cheng is in third, .3 behind Engstrom.
Vernon Head and Darrin Madams are close to trophy positions in F125, both
just behind Byron Short, an F125 fanatic. So you know competition is hot.
Josh Sirota, as it turns out, switched to a cush BMW ride in Super Stock.
Well, that north course is pretty bumpy, and it's not like Josh comes
equipped with a lot of padding. He probably took one look and said, "Forget
THAT."
Next, Mike Lella and Tony Collichio go skirtless in BM. Malibu Mike has
proven himself, almost, against Josh Sirota at the Malibu Grand Prix. Just
how he fairs against the real cars, time will tell. Also, a bunch of
Sacramento Old Fartz make their stand in BSP, and yet another in APL. Odds
look good. And don't forget our A Stock contingent, always a force to be
reckoned with.
