Helmet

I was wondering if someone could refer me to a good place to get a helmet
for autocrossing in the bay area. I'm assuming an open face helmet is more
popular for autcrossing? Are there any good local shops where I could take a
look at some or maybe some web pages where I could check out the prices.
Also if anyone has any good suggestions, what are some helmets people really
like? I'm pretty new to this so any thoughts would be helpful.
