Went up to the Sac. enduro event at McClellan today. Apparently they had 75
cars yesterday for their test 'n' tune. Today was two two-lap runs followed by
an official four-lap run. Course was rather small and simple, consisting mostly
of a long front straightaway and a six cone slalom on the back side. It was not
the best McClellan course I've seen, even by enduro standards, but it ran
somewhat better than it walked.
I had some innocent fun by moving the last and pivotal (literally) slalom cone
around while working course and watching people try and dodge it. ;)
Names were taken, butts were kicked, and I got to hear a BP car actually being
shifted to fourth gear - *there's* something you don't get to see every day...
