I had a discussion with Curtis Kitchen, who (among other things) does the
writeups on the SCCA web page. We were talking about the writeup about the
Fontana Pro Solo, and he mentioned that he could really use more input in
these - it's remarkably difficult to write without knowing details of what
happened. He has, with some trepidation, asked me to forward a request for
people to send him notes about the events. This information would be most
useful on Sunday evening or some time Monday following a given National
Tour or Pro Solo event. He said decent photos would also be extremely
handy. He doesn't need information about what was served at the welcome
party - yes, that ends up being a big job for somebody at each event, and
some are more successful than others - but stuff like someone hopping into
a borrowed, completely different model car just for the Challenge and going
on to win it all (as if that could ever happen) would be really useful
information.
Anyway, please forward whatever interesting tidbits you can to
ckitchen@scca.com. If this is too successful, look for him to change his
email address....
