So if we take out "R" tires and go to a "Street Tire" and keep the ST
classes, we got a ??? Mess?
I think the whole deal need to be rethought out. Not just the tires. The
ST classes came about partially because of the SP time warp. Which is a
separate mess. SM has few classifications. And they now want boosted Elises
to
run 400 pounds of ballast in SM2. This is partially because there are already
too many classes. There ARE tires that grip extremely well but are
streetable. Some of what has happened is because of other stuff that did not
happen.
