Hey, cuz--
Cheap, work well, and go on your rims -- Hoosier Dirtstockers.
Mine cost about $87 each (that was 3 years ago, when my slicks were at
$160).
I run 20x8x13 cantilever slicks, but the Dirtstockers are 21x6x13 -- don't
think 20" is (or was) available. They go on my 6" rims fine, so if they
clear your inner fenders they oughta work. And they raised my gear ratio
enough I did the whole South Course in first gear (yes, I did wind the crap
out of it some places).
Got mine from Ron VerMulm -- you remember him? :-)
http://www.rsracing.com/ I've used mine about four times since I've had
them, including Sept. 15, and once in a roadrace qualifying session. Other
roadracers, including some good ones I respect highly, have confirmed they
were a great choice, especially for those of us on budgets.
