For those of you attending the Solo Nationals in Topeka, KS this year, I've
arranged for a Golf Car company to supply the cars for the full time we are
competing there, including the Pro Solo Finale. The previous company got
out of the business and this company had the ability to supply them and the
best price.
The cars are gas powered 4 passenger cars, headlights and horns, but NO
roofs. The agreement for the 4 passenger car is $100/car for September 9th
through September 16th. You will be able to pick up the vehicle on Friday
September 9th between 9am-12pm or Monday, September 12th. If you cannot
pick it up one of those days, you'll need to arrange for someone else to get
it for you.
The cost does not change for a shorter length of time. It must be cash on
delivery with a credit card as a deposit to cover damages (there will be a
brief inspection up pick-up and drop-off). They will replace a vehicle if
it does not operate correctly.
You're responsible for the car you rent. Bring some sort of cable lock with
you to secure the car if necessary, or they will have some to sell.
To reserve a golf car for the Nationals, do the following:
1) Go to www.magct.com
2) Click on "Special Events"
3) In "Step 1", click the link for "Rental Request Form"
4) The company you're with is "SCCA"
5) Make sure you give an on-site contact number and all of the necessary
information that applies
6) Fill out all the areas as best as possible or it will not submit
7) Reserve the number of cars needed
8) Click on "Request Quote"
9) A representitive will contact you to confirm your reservation and get
credit card information
