Cool!!! Any way to mention to Koni that I'd be interested in a similar
shock for the Miata? I'm sure others would love it, too. My Konis are
the 90-97 Sports, but I'm sure there would be plenty of interest in the
99+ as well. I know mine could be revalved, but off the shelf stiffer
and shorter shocks would be the way to go.

Subject: Koni update: Honda/Acura Race series shocks

applications.
These shocks are valved specifically for autox, road-race and other
performance driving events. All are externally adjustable for rebound
damping. Designed to work with extreme spring rates up to 1000 lbs.
with
coil-over setups. Shocks come with factory perches, but coil-over
sleeves
can be added. They incorporate the commonly known SPSS valving.
Also, these shocks have been shortened to give additional travel on
lowered
car (25mm front, 15-16mm rear).
Race series shocks are available for the following cars:
94-01 Acura Integra
88-91 Honda Civic

92-95 Honda Del Sol
NOTES: Up to now buying 4 Koni Sports and having the valving work and
shortening done resulted in costs of $300+ per shock. This move allows
us
to sell these dampers as more of a production type part, which a
corresponding price drop. Depending on quantity and part number these
will
run right around $250-260 per shock, a substantial savings in both cost
and
time. There is no warranty expressed or implied on Race shocks.
