Howdy,
Anyone here know a lot about FRS radios? We've been using these locally a
bit for workers, but I'm new to them. They still seem like a good
solution for us. Now we need to get some more.
I'm looking for a model recommendation for something that stays on the
channel its set on, is easy for someone that doesn't know the radio to
use, is rugged as hell, can handle being in the rain, has a belt clip that
doesn't suck, and has decent battery life (rechargeable ok or maybe even
preferred, but has to last for 12 hours with reasonable levels of
"Chattiness").
Any pointers? Cost is less important than the factors above, within
reason.
