My late uncle's car is for sale.
I may have some of the details fuzzy, but here's what information I have:
I believe that it is a 1961 or 1962 Mercedes 220 S (the tailfin model).
White with red leather interior, 4 speed on the column, fuel injected 6
cylinder.
Comes with all the original owners and factory service manuals (no problem
with protests!)
Comes with some misc spare parts
It is pretty much original. My uncle was an engineer and he kept the car in
good shape, but it has been sitting for most of the last 15-20 years.
It ran when it was put in storage.
The body has some rust around the headlights, but appears to be otherwise
sound.
My uncle was the original owner, and it was his daily driver until the late
1970's.
The car will need a lot of work, and it will not make sense to pay someone
a lot of money to restore it. This will only be a project for someone who
will do the work themselves.

It's a neat car, and if I had the time, space and money, I would have taken
it.
