The site has 24-hour security, and is right across the street from the
sheriff's office. I have always left the car and trailer at the site with
no problems. I wouldn't leave tools and wheels sitting out unsecured, but
then there are very few places I would do that.

The info was sent to SCCA, and I believe was all there before the infamous
new web site was put up. The site has a bunch of names. I don't think
I've ever used "San Juan Downs and Casino", but I don't think that name is
wrong either. This all gets back to NM state laws which allowed horse
racing facilities to open casinos so as to be able to compete with the very
successful Indian casinos. One restriction that was placed on the race
tracks (but unfortunately not on the existing casinos) was that they have
severe restrictions on how they can advertise. Therefore, even though the
giant lighted sign out front says "Sunray Park" or somesuch, we have to
call the facility "McGee Park" which I understand is the name of the whole
facility which includes county fairgrounds in addition to the track and
casino. I'm not saying I'm not confused about the causes of all of this
and just why this is all needed, but that's pretty much beyond the scope of
this discussion anyway. If you find Sunray Park, McGee Park, or the San
Juan Downs, you are at the right place. It's halfway between Farmington
and Bloomfield. And it's really hard to miss.

As to them only vaguely suggesting that McGee Park is the site - look at
the Pro Solo Schedule. I guess I should have put a christmas tree in the
middle of the box on the map? I was told that they were not going to use
the map, but provide the trip planner site instead. Not a bad idea if the
trip planner site worked well....
