I agree with Rocky.  Though I can see a situation where you are replacing 
significant numbers of parts, possibly all at the same time, possibly at 
different times, and end up with a vehicle which has very few parts that were 
on the 
original car.  As long as the VIN says it's a 2004, and it has all the right 
parts to be a 2004, how would a PC determine that it's made from parts of cars 
that were not 2004's?
A different situation than the original question, though...  I doubt the 
owner of a 2002 will want to go find 2004 parts with VINs on them to justify 
his 
2004 CF hood...
