WRX's are a blast to drive. We campaigned one on a National level for 2001 &
2002, mostly on the ProSolo circuit. We won our fair share of Subaru
contingency money. They have a distict advantage at the Pro's right at the
launch (the beauty of all-wheel drive). The tours are usually dominated by
the Type R's and Bimmers, but at a local level they are pretty competitive.
Although STX does allow for some of the minor things that the car really
needs - bigger rear sway bar and higher spring rates.
I drove the car alot to work and it was a great highway/everyday car not to
mention fun on the weekends.
We are patiently waiting for our new STi version to arrive.
