With several people flying back at me on this point, I called SCCA again
today and talked to Judy Cox again (she's the insurance administrator).
She confirmed what I said originally ... BUT ... after relating the
misgivings of others including Rob, Dave, John Lieberman, etc., and pointing
out the word "annual" in the guidelines, I think now she's not entirely
sure. So, when she can reach him, she's going to check with Pete Lyon.
Looks like Pete will get this question from 3 or 4 different directions. The
likelihood is a clearer definition, whichever way it goes.
It's less important which way it goes than that we ultimately all understand
and do it the same way. It's also going to ensure that Pete and Judy are
reading the same rule the same way. :-)

I think Rocky is confused on this point Dave. I have written the SSC and
asked them to help me clarify this issue so if you all would wait a little
while, like a day or two. I will attempt to give you all a clearer answer.
However, Dave I believe you are correct the any event any date minor
competitor waiver must be renewed each year. I may be wrong and that is why
I am checking with the SSC to clarify.
I will let you all know that most regions, probably Salina's included is
going to have to have a system to keep these waivers on file for several
years. And we will probably have to have licensed registrars in Solo II.

I was under the impression that the "All Events" "All Dates" waiver was
annual only? At least that's what I *THOUGHT* I heard from Pete at the
convention.
