This has not passed but is up for member comment to be
effective next year. If you feel strongly about this
then you should write. I probably will. A major
difference in whether or not it would be competitive
would be if it was listed on the same line as the NA
or not. The Supercharged model was only available in
T-top configuration and is inferior in rigidity to the
hardtop model, so much so that car magazines who were
excited about a more powerful Mr2 described the S/C
model as the worst handling toyota at the time.
Another benefit to putting them on the same line would
be to swap transmissions. The S/C tranny, while
stronger, weighs considerably more, so getting it to
more CSP-like weight would be easier to achieve.
