We had one local club member who had a set of A008-R's (I'm showing my age
with that one) re-capped to use as street tires. He had a street compound,
but that particular company could have put together a tire which would have
made a Hoosier look like a Sears Roadhandler (they make recing tires for
everything from cars to karts).
