No sooner do I get Daughter #1's Saturn somewhat under control the 1993
Honda Civic sedan of Daughter #2 starts to act up.
If the car sits for a time (a day or more) she has to crank it for quite
some time for the engine to fire. Normally if she drives it every day
things are fine.
Yesterday she fired it up drove it up the driveway and made it to the next
house on the street when it died. I cranked it for a time, let it sit and
tried it later and it fired.
I'm thinking that it could be a clogged sock on the fuel pump, a partially
clogged fuel filter, or there is a one way valve to hold pressure in the
fuel injection system that is going bad and letting the pressure bleed back
to the fuel tank.
Any suggestions on where to look first?
