The rear-view mirror on the inside of my Suburban has parted company with
the windshield. The mirror was lying on the floor when I went to use the
truck.
The failure location is between the glue and the mounting tab. The tab
stayed with the mirror, and the surface of the tab is perfectly clean and
glue-less. The windshield, however has a tombstone-shaped glue patch.
I guess it was the high temperature, but it was not really the hottest day
we have had.
Since I have not lost the tab, I don't feel like getting a new tab kit.
What kind of glue ought I use to put this thing back on?
Yes, I know enough to take the tab out of the mirror and tape only the tab
up until the glue cures. :-)
