I noticed that this year, I didn't have to use the "features" of Acrobat to
get around the copy/print protection for the GCR, but the SOLO II rules were
protected. So, one book is restricted, the other isn't.
There are a number of tools that will let you do what you want, and most of
them are cheaper than Acrobat (even free). ABBYY Fine Reader, pdf2txt,
PStill, AportisDoc Converter/Reader, etc.
Go to Google and search on "pdf +(reader,converter)"

National is very careful not to make the pdf files printable or copyable.
Guess you're stuck buying a book like the rest of us.
I really don't understand how not having the rules freely available serves
the membership of our club, but what do I know? Flunked marketing :-(
