HPA Motorsports has something even better. Their Stage 3 GT6 kit is a
twin-turbo 24v VR6 putting out 508HP at 5600 and 556 ft/b at 3600. It fits
the New Beetles and Audi TT's.

0-60? 4.2 seconds.
Standing 1/4-mile? 12.99 sec @ 102.41mph.

Probably, the (old) A4 and A6 have the same engine bay. Someone
(Cosworth?) wedged the NA S8 motor into an S4 as a design study a year
or so back, and that's the same block as the RS6. You might need custom
downpipes/etc.

It probably won't fit in a TT though -- too bad. :)

Perhaps. Supposedly the reason why Audi didn't put a manual in the
RS6 at all is that they don't have one rated for the torque. The S4's
tranny is strong though -- it's reportedly the same one used in the
Euro-only RS4.
