The unique problem with the WRX is that most people
who buy them modify them so they're no longer eligible
for DS.
Notice there were several WRXs already competing in
ESP in El Torl/ San Diego these past few weekends.
Furthermore, who's to say the Type-R isn't the car
to (still) have for DS? The WRX launches hard, but I'd
bet a Type-R will carve around slaloms and transitions
faster....
Lastly, the Subaru money is very tempting. If I had
some extra money, I'd fix a 2.5RS up for STS.
