OK,
It's I am one day hopefully returning to ITA or PRO7 (yeah I'm out West) and I
just got myself a pristine 1979 Rx7... It's a great and very clean car and I
only need to do the minor usual stuff to make it ready for the new ES.
My dilemma:
I can't decide whether I should go to CSP right away and build the car over
time gaining-speed and handling as I go and of course rebuilding some of my
old long forgotten skills, or just stay in ES and be the slowest but lightest
Rx7 in the class.
Am I looking at being trounced by the 1.6 Ltr Miata and old Mr2 or do I really
stand a chance in ES?
In CSP, I'll be very slow, just not off the pace, but I know how to rectify
90% of that - well I would if Palmquist wasn't in my local club, o-man do I
have an uphill fight or what!
So, I can run ES and get beaten, or I can run CSP and well get slaughtered...
There's only a little budget, shall I just spend the money on events? Or spend
the money on the car?
Argh.. classic huh!
Opinions, fames and general conversation encouraged!
