That wasn't my equation. Mine was:
Diameter * pi * toe in degrees/ 360= toe in inches
and it does indeed provide accurate toe, whether per wheel or total.
And it's a hell of a lot easier to calculate in your head while sitting
in the driver's seat on an alignment rack, BTW.
