I usually do not comment on this area but I aggree with this assesment. I
also would like to point out that to place Solo2 events on TV generally
violates the non spectator clause of the liability insurance. This is why
Solo2 events, at least in my region and the local sports car club use a
phone anouncement system and do not place the events in the local paper or
any other advertisments.
We at North Hills Sports Car Club in Pittsburgh have used the same sit for
40 years so the spectators show up any way.

People who think Solo deserves to be on TV because it's more exciting than
sports that are currently getting air time are missing the point. Sports
shows currently on the air are *not* on the air because they're exciting.
They are on the air because advertisers pay for the air time. Period.
