I was raised in Alabama, and I still have some
contacts down south. They were able to send me the
following:
Lonnie,
We borrowed Uncle Jimmy's rule book and copied this.
It is from last year's NASCAR TRUCK SERIES Rule Book:
13. Gun Racks
a): One bolt-on Gun Rack may be used. The Gun Rack
may not be welded on. Holes may be drilled to mount
the Gun Rack in an adjustable manner such that it is
visible from the rear of the vehicle. Adjustments
may allow use of the Gun Rack for fishin' poles,
umbrellys, canes, AK-47s, Remingtion over-under Shot
Guns, or Stinger Missile launchers.
b): The Gun Rack must not have any firearms in
place while the vehicle is in motion in the garage
area, pits, or during competition. The Gun Rack must
not be mounted in such a manner as to stiffen the
chassis. It must serve no other purpose.
Does that answer your question?
Your Couzin,
Billie Ray
