Someone will eventually suggest it, so I will ask first. (This is a
little "thinking outside the box")
What would happen if there was a day set between the two events? (They are
two seperate events after all). Say run Monday/Tuesday and
Thursday/Friday. Event officials are typically there anyway, although they
would lose the day of rest after the Pro Finale. (I frankly do not like
having to take Monday off of work just to sit around. Whether you run
early in the week or late, you can take advantage of the weekend for
travel.) When you sign up for paddock space, you must also say what day
you are leaving. Should be plenty of space for all.
I see course set up as the main argument against. Is there anyway this
could be overcome? If the course is pre-marked (as I suspect it is), is it
simply a matter of a couple hours of cone placement?
