Subject: [RMsolo] 2 time National Champion Miata for sale
Hi all,
That's right, the Miata that took 1'st and 2'nd in BS at the SOLO 2
Nationals this year and also took 1'st last year is for sale. Yes it's a
fast car. Byron Short, 11'th in Topeka in the pro in his '99 Miata, jumped
in and took 2'nd in the SOLO 2 Nationals his first day driving this car.
Included with the car is all setup and improvements that were on the car at
Nationals including: low restriction exhaust, alignment settings, 4 custom
double adjustable 30 series ProParts Koni racing shocks with lower Hiem
joints, Front bar, competition lap belt, a set of stock wheels with Hoosiers
mounted and a set of aftermarket non-stock wheels with nearly new Dunlops.
In particular, the ProParts shocks make this an amazing car. The car is
dark green and in great shape with only 14K miles on it. Price is 17.5K,
which is what the car would cost to duplicate, but wouldn't include the
setup and support that come with this car.
Also for sale is a set of 4 Volk wheels which are about the lightest Miata
wheels around. These wheels started out white and were repainted silver.
It seemed like a nice idea, but didn't work so well. The wheels now have
cracked silver paint with white showing through. One wheel also has a small
cosmetic dent (no problems for over a year). Price is $500 for all four,
less than 1/2 the relatively reasonable, for Volk wheels, original $295.
Polished and clear coated with the dent removed these would look really nice
for way below the price for new standard white wheels. In addition, for
$600, I have a set of new, scrubbed, never raced 225 wide Hoosiers. Or, for
$500, you can get the tires that came in 2'nd at the pro. It's your
choice. A tire/wheel package deal would include free mounting. All prices
exclude delivery/shipping.
