Matt, I personally and publicly commend you for having the good sense to
make the announcement timely and with correct information. I was in grid
(B) for the second heat and had three people come up with "breaking" news
that was so contradictory that I was beginning to wonder if the whole thing
was some kind of sick hoax. From it wasn't airliners it was helicopters,
no it was a small plane, etc. All this from people that you know and
should trust. Rumour is never the best source of information and the area
was filled with it.
Thanks for giving us the correct information at the right time. Regardless
of the outcome to the event, which became inconsequential from about 8:00
AM on. And I sucked because I screwed up the setup on the car, not because
I didn't drive to the best of my abilities at the time and with the
conditions of the event.
