Consider that the outside of a tire has three areas: tread,
shoulder and sidewall (usually? separated from the shoulder
by either a groove or a raised portion).
Should tire pressures be set so that scuffing occurs on
the shoulder up to by not including the divider between
shoulder and sidewall? Or something else?
