Jeff and to whom it may concern,

Do you think it would it be interesting and maybe helpfull to gather some
information on the top placing National cars and driverrs to help answer your
questions? Here are some of the factors that come to mind, additional
factors, comments and data are welcome. Car information; torque and hp at
wheels, car weight, tire size, tire compound, widest dimension on car, wheel
base. Driver information; years autoxing, years winning at nationals, years
autoxing in this years national winning car, number of hours autoxing this
year in the natioanal winning car, did the driver feel this year's course
suited his car and/or driving style? Was the driver using extreemegeez, is
that information available? Also, is there any record of the course
conditions when the winning runs were made, air temperature, surface
temperature, surface conditions, for example was the run order EP, DM, CP
(short for concrete pulverizers), EM?

 Thanks in advance,
 Kevin Wallace

Was weather or temperature a factor at this event? Or was the course
so suited to Z06, RX3 and 510 that:

John Thomas's EP Civic time was faster than all Prepared entrants,
and also would have taken 2nd in E-Mod.

Tom Ellam's CSP RX3 was faster than any SP entrant and all FP and BP
  entrants.

John Ames SS time in his Z06 was faster than all the BSP (including
Gary Thomason's) and BP Corvettes (including Ken Yeo). He would have
  trophied even in EM.
