Squeaks are simply proof a car is 'serious'.

When the Neon get's Solo'd I can actually play a CD for the whole run!
Clearly it's not a serious Neon.

The other car can't get out of the garage under it's own power without
squeaks. . .

Obvious answer:  It's not the bar.  The assumption seems to have been
that the bar is binding/squeaking where it is held to the body via the
captive bushings.

Perhaps the bushings are moving in the clamps.  Also possible is
that the clamps are moving where they mount to the body, or
the body itself is flexing, producing a "squeaky/creaky" sound.
(not good)
