They haven't made the tire "worse", but the S-03 tires' mission is
different. I've spoken with two people who have driven both tires S-02 &
S-03. They have connections to Bridgestone and tell me that if ultimate
performance is the goal, and Bridgestone is your tire, then stick with the
S-02 Pole Position. The S-03 is a better bet if and only if you want longer
tread life at the expense of a slight fall off in performance relative to
the SO-2.
