aluminum wheel scratch repair

things seem a little slow on the 'net today so I thought I might ask if
anyone has DIY tips for this subject . 

I was going to try a sanding drum on a dremel followed with some mother's
mag polish.
this is for OEM street wheels that have some superficial curb rash.
