Hello All. I just started autoxing my 66 Sunbeam Tiger after restoring it.
For power is has a 400 HP GT40 302. My question is: What is the proper tire
pressure to use when autoxing. The cars weight is about 2550 lbs. The tires
are Yokohama A520, 205/45ZR16 in front and 225/45ZR16 in the rear. I sent a
message to Yoko, but the reply about the tire pressure sounded like it came
from someone who didn't know the first thing about the fine sport of autoxing.
He or she suggested 26 lbs. That might be ok for normal street driving, but a
little soft for autoxing. The surface at the last autox was concrete and a
retired parking ramp for army Helicopters. I would appreciate any help to
