I'm sorry Warren, you have it all wrong.
Some folks not at Ft. Worth National Tour took comments of, "it was really
fast" and such to mean that the parameters set by the rule book were
exceeded. That is far from the case.
Paul Foster is a non SCCA member, that hates the SCCA and everything about
the AX community. He is a non competitor, his excuse is he doesn't have a
competitive car. His hatred is based in the classing that will not allow
him to win in his POS Porsche 944t, as if a rule change would help. A car
built for midgets and as such is probably less a Porsche than a 914 1.7
liter with VW wheels.
When the opportunity arises he (P. Foster) does everything he can to get
people to think that the SCCA is going to hell in a handbasket and that
the rules are not being followed and should be fixed so he can somehow win
in his aforementioned POS.
Robert Pickrell is one such SCCA member that took the rattle bait and
opened up his mouth and jumped in with both feet.
If you want information about car setup, AX and anything technical you'll
need to go to the Evolution list and be monitored. This list is mostly
for sitting around the fire, drinking beer and bench racing.
