Whereas there are always competitive equity issues involved in
any consideration of course speeds, the SSC (that's the Solo
Safety Committee, get it?) has now taken an interest in the
matter; and, since all the discussion of the course in question
on team.net has centered around course _safety_, I understandably
restricted my comments to same. I believe you'll find that other
participants in the discussion took the same approach.

As I pointed out in a private email to Rob yesterday, I wouldn't
have designed that course myself (I don't have quite the
competitive track record of the designers, though ;<), but not
strictly because of safety considerations.
