Static cling works on paint, or any smooth non-porous surface, if you know
the trick technique.
Start with a clean panel.
Spray the panel with water
Stick the static cling number on
Squeegee the water out from under it.
Works pretty darn well at autox speeds.
It'll stick on dry too, but blows off more easily.
