*This in NO way relates/refers to the courses at the Meridian Tour* In the discussion of course speeds, we often focus on only the fastest, straightest sections, and section 2.1.A (page 51) sentence 4 is overlooked and (imo) more frequently violated: "Turns should not normally allow speeds in excess of 45 mph in unprepared cars." Which obviously begs the question, what is an "unprepared car"? Roger 2 |
