I think you have your facts mixed up some. Trust me, Hoosier Tom would not
pass on the chance to sell anyone tires, regardless of what brand they've
been using previously. Tom also mounts any brand tire as well (try getting
BFG to do that). Tom is a true asset to the sport; if he is providing tire
support to an event he provides it to everyone regardless of their brand
affiliation.
More than likely what happened is that a particular size or set was brought
at the request of another Hoosier tire competitor and was *spoken* for. This
is a common situation as it's not possible to bring extra tires in every
available size to an event; not even Nat's. Anybody who shows up at any
event expecting to buy a set of tires without having made arrangements in
advance is playing russian roulette.
