Scott, I found the data on tire dimentions, that I had
researched,for the tires in question:
HOOSIER:
225/50/14--(SECTION WIDTH)=9.2in
(TREAD WIDTH)=8.8in
(OUTER DIAM.)=22.7in
205/55/14--(SECTION WIDTH)=8.5in
(TREAD WIDTH)=8.0in
(OUTER DIAM.)=22.8in
KUHMO:
205/55/14--(SECTION WIDTH)=8.1in
(TREAD WIDTH)=7.6in
(OUTER DIAM.)=22.6in
The gentleman who said the BFG info was moot is
correct(They wont be making these anymore),although a
couple quick calls found 2 sets of each size of the
BFG in stock.If your hell bent on BFG you better get
em now!
Since I dont have any experience on the Hoosiers, the
'01 season will find me testing the Hoosier vs the
Kuhmo.
