Oddly enough, we found that the 45s wanted roughly 20psi less than the 50s
- when we switched from the 225/50-13 to the /45, we were unimpressed until
we dropped almost 20psi on the nail(18-19, IIRC).
It seems far fetched, but IME, the 50s want 45-50psi, the 45s want 30-35.
YMMV, etc etc....
