Shaving the block is only allowed if your factory (not Chilton, Haynes,

seriously doubt it does. You can go up to .0472" overbore in SP legally,
however.

Machining IS lightening. Intent doesn't count. I'm guessing you're doing
this for clearance purposes because of your head/block shaving, which tells
me that the factory manual probably DOESN'T allow it...

the '98 springs are only legal in a completely '98 engine.
